By Air

The nearest airport is Coimbatore International Airport (CJB), approximately 70km away. Taxis and buses are readily available from the airport.

By Train

Erode Junction (ED) is the closest major railway station, around 60km from the campus. You can hire a cab or take a bus to Sathyamangalam.

By Road

The campus is well-connected by road. Sathyamangalam bus stand is just 5km away, with frequent services from Erode, Coimbatore, and other major cities.

SDG GOALS

1. Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3)

Strives to reduce maternal and child mortality, fight communicable and non-communicable diseases, and expand access to essential health services. It also addresses mental health, substance abuse, and road safety to promote overall well-being.

2. Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6)

Focuses on ensuring universal access to safe and affordable drinking water, improved sanitation facilities, and hygiene education. It promotes water-use efficiency, supports community-led water management, and addresses water scarcity and pollution.

3. Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9)

Aims to build strong physical and digital infrastructure, promote sustainable industrial development, and support research and technological advancement. It encourages innovation as a means to create inclusive economic growth and adapt to future challenges.

4. Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)

Encourages sustainable resource use, eco-friendly manufacturing, and reduction of food and material waste. It focuses on educating consumers and industries to make informed decisions that reduce environmental impact and support long-term sustainability.

5. Life Below Water (SDG 14)

Targets the protection of marine biodiversity by controlling ocean pollution, regulating unsustainable fishing practices, and preserving coral reefs. It highlights the role of healthy oceans in regulating climate and supporting coastal communities.

6. Life on Land (SDG 15)

Supports the sustainable management of forests, protection of wildlife habitats, and restoration of degraded lands. It aims to combat the threats of deforestation, desertification, and the illegal wildlife trade to preserve ecological balance.

Registration & Participation Guidelines

General Guidelines

  • AURA'25 is a 2-day intra & intercollegiate event that encourages innovation and sustainable thinking.
  • All B.E. / B.Tech students from any branch are allowed to participate.
  • Each team must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 participants.
  • Team name and member names must be clearly mentioned during registration, and names should match college ID or institutional records.
  • Teams are required to select a theme based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • The list of SDG themes is provided in the official brochure, and their descriptions are attached below.
  • Participants must select their SDG theme during registration.
  • All event entries or presentations must be aligned with the selected SDG theme.

Registration Fees

    SPECIAL OFFER!!!! Register before September 20:

  • With Accommodation & special lunch:Rs.920 per person + 500 for 2 day Dine & stay!!! Suitable for participants requiring lodging during the event
  • Without Accommodation & special lunch: Rs.920 per person.Recommended for local participants or those arranging their own stay.
  • After September 20, the registration fees will be as follows:
  • With Accommodation & Food: ₹1680 per person (Includes ₹1180 event fee + ₹500 for 2-day stay + applicable GST). Suitable for participants requiring lodging during the event.
  • Without Accommodation: ₹1180 per person (Includes ₹500 event fee + applicable GST+includes lunch). Recommended for local participants or those arranging their own stay.

Additional Notes

  • The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Ensure accuracy before confirming your registration.
  • Teams combining students from multiple disciplines are encouraged to participate.
  • Only the team leader should complete the registration and make a single payment through the registration form on our website.
  • Only fully registered teams with complete payment will be considered for shortlisting and participation.
  • Certificates will be issued only to registered teams that fully participate in the event.
  • On-spot registration is strictly not acceptable under any condition.
  • Participants will receive only printed certificates; no digital copies will be provided after the event.
  • All participants must report to the college between 8:00 AM and 8:45 AM. Late entry will not be permitted.
  • Participants must maintain silence and avoid any form of celebration or noise while availing accommodation. Any disturbance will lead to disciplinary action.
  • Formal attire is mandatory for all participants:
    • Boys: T-shirts are not allowed; wear formal shirts and pants.
    • Girls: Must wear kurtis, Western dresses are not allowed.
